Poland - Slovenia - Croatia event, saturday, february 4th 2006, 1800 UTC

We invite you to spend a fabulous evening in the beautiful, rarely visited but very charming places near the Adriatic sea, with airports surrounded by the Alps - Ljubljana (LJLJ), Maribor (LJMB) and Zagreb (LDZA). Slovenia and Croatia VACCs, with support from visiting controllers from Poland, will provide full ATC staffing on the Saturday evening.

We recommend everyone to fly to one of the open airports and in addition to make a short local flight to another local airfield. With the freeware Slovenia mesh (available at avsim.net) you will be able to enjoy scenic views of the Alps, sometimes dangerously close to your flight path. The event will start at 1800UTC and will last to approx 2300UTC.
We welcome every pilot, VA to come and visit our countries!

Adriatic fly-inn IV, april 4th 18:44 UTC

Croatian vACC is preparing for new Adriatic fly-inn (Adriatic IV) which will be held around Dubrovnik Airport. This event normally wouldn't be nothing extraordinary but everything will be around difficult landings to runway 30 which is not equipped with ILS, no NDBs/VORs directly on landing path... Not to mention hills in front of touchdown! Anyway, visit official web site on http://www.adriatic.doesit.info/!

OneSky 2 - Europe Online - saturday march 8th, 2003, 16:00 - 22:00 UTC

With a more stable network we are coming again with this event.
Every single Centre Position of the VATSIM Europe Region including VATSIM Russia, VATSIM UK and VATSIM Europe Divisions will be staffed, plus one or two major Airports per country (not more, to concentrate on traffic) with most positions (DEL, GND, APP/DEP) online. Heavy VATSIM Europe partner Virtual Airline participation is already confirmed and all vACCs are preparing full staffing as mentioned above. Don't miss it ! More details on  event's page.
